A prescription eye drug, Nevanac Eye Drop 5ml has Nepafenac as its active component. Precautions

Do not take Nevanac if you are allergic to Nepafenac or any other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID).If you are pregnant or nursing, talk to your doctor before using Nevanac. Nevanac's safety while nursing and pregnancy has not been proven.Remove contact lenses before applying Nevanac Eye Drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing eye disorders like glaucoma or if you develop eye irritation, dryness, or pain following use of the drug.Tell your doctor about all other drugs you are taking, particularly NSAIDs or other eye drops.

Side Effects

Although Nevanac is usually well tolerated, certain individuals might have adverse effects such:Common Side Effects: Eye discomfort, redness, stinging, or impaired vision upon application.Serious Side Effects: Major eye discomfort, eye swelling, vision problems, or indications of an allergic response including rash, itching, or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.Long-term Use Effects: Long-term NSAID usage might raise the likelihood of corneal issues, eye infections, or delayed recovery.Should any of these adverse effects continue or get worse, see your physician right away.

How to use

Before using the eye drop, wash your hands well.To make a little pocket, tilt your head back and draw your lower eyelid down.Squeeze the required number of drops into the eye by holding the dropper above it.To assist the medicine spread, close your eye and softly push on the inner corner for a few seconds.To prevent contamination, avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.If recommended, do the procedure for the other eye.After using the drops, wash your hands one more.Usually used 1-2 times daily, Nevanac Eye Drops; always follow the precise dosage and directions given by your doctor.
